While delivering the jury keynote address in the recent ‘HR 40Under40’ inaugural organized by BW People in association with BW Businessworld, Sumant Sinha, Chairman, and MD, ReNew Power, focussed on how important is HR as a domain in revolutionizing the work culture and practices over the years. Sinha further asserted, “Identifying and selecting the top 40 HR leaders from across India would be an exciting endeavor and, it was interesting to note how different people think about the same issues.” 

Talking about the selection procedure, Sinha further went on to say, “While engaging with the eminent Jury and reviewing each entry deciding on whether a candidate is good enough to be a part of such an elite list had been a crucial task of responsibility.”

“It was a rewarding experience from my standpoint. It was interesting to go through all the people who have applied”, Sumant further added.

Commenting on the present COVID scenario, Sumant said, “This is a difficult time for all of us and the reality is that we are missing human interface. It is having an impact on the mental health of people. At times like this, it is the culture, the feeling of oneness, that becomes critical.”
