World leaders are discussing action to tackle climate change at the COP27 climate summit which is underway in Egypt. The United Nations climate summit is crucial as governments world over commit to steps to limit global temperature rises. In fact, it was UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres who says that we were headed towards a "chronicle of climate chaos" ands which is why COP27 must be the place for urgent and credible climate action and more importantly for India to emerge as a responsible global climate power.
